Sisters of Mercy Digital Collection
The Sisters of Mercy Collection is now live on the Libraries/IDS Research portal. Although the collection was originally created in the early 1960’s, Sr. Gilmary Bauer, R.S.M. has updated the information on the Sisters of Mercy with an introduction to the site.
Featured in the collection are two slide/audio sets that relate the history of the Sisters of Mercy. They give an account of founder Catherine McAuley’s commitment to merciful service and her ministry to those in need and they explain how her vision is still relevant and flexible today.
