Off-campus access to Science Direct journals is not working properly–articles that should be available instead display a screen offering the article for sale. Elsevier has been notified of the problem and is investigating. The libraries’ online catalog will be unavailable from 10:00 PM, Saturday, January 14, -11:00 AM, Sunday, January 15,  and 6:00 AM-noon, Monday, January 16,  for electrical work on the server facilities and software upgrades. All library subscription databases and other resources on the library portal (http://research.udmercy.edu) will be available during this time....

Several new and enhanced electronic resources are now available for unlimited use 24/7, on and off campus. Nursing Education in Video adds 269 training videos covering most aspects of nursing. The Institute of Physics journals collection includes all of the Institute’s journal publications back to 1886, covering all aspects of the physical sciences.  JAMA (The Journal of the American Medical Association) and five specialty publications of the AMA are available 1998-date. The McNichols and Dental (Corktown) Campus Libraries will be closed December 23, 2011 – January 2, 2012. Online electronic resources will continue to be available 24/7 during the closing.
